Yellow glaze Sui / Tang dynasty bowl

I purchased this bowl from what seemed a good collection.  It is 6 cm. high, and 11,5 cm across. It is made of a dark brown pottery, which is high fired. It does not absorb water quick, but it has a pottery smell when wet. The glaze is yellow/green and glassy. It is crazed and shiny, and has not  much wear on it.

The combination of the dark body, and the flat foot is quite unusual. This shape of foot is mostly seen in the Tang dynasty, or the Yuan dynasty.

I was so lucky to find a similar bowl which was determined as being Sui dynasty. They pointed towards the Hongzhou kilns, Fengcheng, Jiangxi, were these chocolate brown bodies were produced.

bb3Looking at the glaze, and the shape of bowl, and the foot it is very likely to be Tang dynasty.
