Here is another neolithic vase. It is 23 cm tall, made from an orange burnt, high fired pottery. It is hand built, coiling method, and scraped. Quite extensive restorations. The bottom has a clear pattern of a mat. The undecorated wares are scarcely documented but I think it is Majiayao culture, Machang phase. I found a matching shape in Dawn of the yellow earth, but it is more sophisticated, and painted. These unpainted wares are more likely made for daily use.
