I bought this figure on an internet auction. When it arrived I was surprised by this impressive figure of 38 cm. It was once cut in halves, possibly for releasing spirits (?) or just for practical transporting reasons. It is made from a porous white pottery, and covered for 2/3 in yellowish glaze. It has amazing details on his armour, as two faces on his breast, and dragons on the sleaves.The glaze has encrustations on it, and remnants of paint.
