Bought this bowl at a local auction, where it was described as Ming. The lotus carving reminded me of a Song type of design, as seen on Ding ware. This glaze has a qingbai look though. The potting is kind of heavy, the clay slightly rough to the touch, and a greyish white. It measures 13 cm across, and 7 cm high.
A similar piece is depicted in “Guangdong ceramics from Butuan and other Philippine sites”. So it is most likely a Song bowl from Guangdong kilns.
