Qingbai granary Song/Yuan dynasty

This is a model of a granary, a burial object, model of an actual granary building. This one is made from a white stoneware clay, covered with a bleu-ish Qingbai glaze.

These granaries are dated to the Song/Yuan dynasties 13th-14th centuries. Very similar pieces are in the Ashmolean and Ontario museum. Depicted in the book; the book Qingbai Ware:Chinese Porcelain of the Song and Yuan Dynasties.

The lid comes of, and shows the white body, that feels a bit rough and sharp.
