This delightful small bowl is from the Xiba kilns. The Xiba kilns are
located in Xiba town, Wutongqiao district, Leshan city, Sichuan
province. This small bowl is 10,5 cm indiameter, and 4,5 cm high. The
pottery is of a sand color and not very high fired. There are a few
nibbles on the rim, but for this kiln it is in a good condition. The
glaze is rich in contrast, from a glassy light brown to a more dull
dark brown. Similar bowls are dated Song dynasty.
