This small stoneware ewer is from the Longquan kilns in Zhejiang. It
is 5,5 cm high, and about 11 cm at the widest. It is shaped like a
pumpkin, and made in a two part mould. Spout and handle added. The
spout might be restored, but it is so well done it is hard to see. . Mostly these ewers are dated
Yuan dynasty, about 14th century.
