Li vessel, neolithic

I have a fascination for the Li shape vessel, and it is slowly becoming a collection in my collection. This pottery Li is 15 cm. high and made from a low fired pottery. It is decorated wit a rope pattern. The indented rim is unusual, and I have not been able to find another one. It is not exactly a masterpiece, but an interesting and unusual piece. I am inclined to place it in the Longshan culture. It comes from the collection of James Somerville, 1843-1923.
